Creating an Account
All NxtFireGuard accounts are created through the NxtGenIT authentication portal. You can sign up with an email and password, or use Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub for a faster setup.
During registration you choose between two account types:
Personal: for individual use. A Basic (free) subscription is created automatically for your personal account. You can optionally create or join a company later from your account settings.
Enterprise: for organizations. Requires your first and last name, email address, company name, and company email. A Basic subscription is created for both your personal account and the company account. Members of a company can switch between their personal and company context directly in the NxtFireGuard dashboard. Note that a user can only be part of one company at a time.
Subscribing to a Paid Tier
If you navigate to a paid tier before creating an account, you will be prompted to register first. The chosen tier is remembered and applied to whichever account type you create.
After registration, your email address needs to be verified. Once verified, you will be given the option to Continue to Checkout or Continue with Free Plan. If you continue to checkout, you will be taken to a Stripe-hosted payment page where the 30-day free trial is shown with payment details required upfront. Supported payment methods include Card, Klarna, SEPA Direct Debit, and Apple Pay.
You can cancel checkout at any point. If you do, your account will remain on the Basic tier — you still have full access to NxtFireGuard's free features and can restart the checkout at any time from your account settings.
Subscriptions can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled at any time from your account settings.
Account Settings
Account settings are managed at account.nxtgenit.de/account. The page is split into two sections:
Personal Settings

Company Settings
Company settings are only available if you have created or are a member of a company. The company owner has access to all settings below; team members have access depending on their assigned role.
