Reports
NxtFireGuard can generate PDF reports summarising activity across your sensors, blocklists, IP alerts, and threat data. Reports are fully customisable — you choose which sections to include and how far back in time the data should reach. Reports can be generated on demand or delivered automatically on a schedule via a Notification Group.
Creating a Report
- Go to Reports in the sidebar and click + Create Report.
- Enter a Name and an optional Description for the report.
- Set the Time Range using the preset selector (e.g. Last 24 Hours). This determines the data window used for all sections in the report.
- Add Sections: click the + button next to any section to add it to the report. Sections are organised into four categories:
- General: IP Actions, Blocklist Changes Chart, Traffic Events Chart, Threat Logs Chart, Processing Chart
- Threat Analysis: Top Threats, Criticality Distribution, Top Honeypot Types, Top Source IPs, Top Destination IPs, Top Targeted Services, Top Source Countries, Top Source ASNs, Top Threat Sensors
- Blocklist Analysis: Top Blocked/Unblocked IPs, Top Active Blocklists, Change Type Distribution, Top Change Triggers, Top Traffic Sensors
- IP Alerts Analysis: Top Source IPs, Top Destination IPs, Top Countries, Top ASNs, NFG Score Distribution, Top Traffic Sensors, Source Types, Tor Distribution, Private vs Public IPs
- Reorder sections by dragging them in the Report Sections preview panel on the right.
- Optionally enable Scheduling to deliver the report automatically. Set the frequency (e.g. Daily), the time in 24h format, and assign one or more Notification Groups to receive the report by email.
- Click Save Report to finish.
Generating a Report
From the Reports list, click Generate on any report card to produce a PDF immediately using the report's current configuration and time range. The generated PDF will be sent to all Notification Groups assigned to that report.
